A Wonderful Big Sister

I just heard a very tender exchange between our sweet Emma and little Benson. I had just got out of the shower and was in the bathroom with the door partially closed. Benson, who was sleeping on my bed, woke up and started to fuss.

Within seconds Emma was at his side. I heard her quietly reassure him that "its okay, I'm right here." I heard him pick him up and keep speaking these very tender things to him. Within seconds he was calm and she was making him laugh.

Its moments like these that make a mother's heart swell.
