We started with a little shopping at the mall, then we headed over to Chili's for dessert. By the time we got to the Barnes and Noble book party it was a mad house! We kept our selves entertained with story time by Kelsey, the always reading Kindergarten teacher (she didn't want me to take a picture of that - sorry Kelsey, just too funny to pass up!), and by taking pictures of the wacko's out there, and here I thought I was one of the biggest fans! We saw Edward, complete with his cell! We had fun watching the girls in the bouquet toss, and finally at about 12:30 a.m. we got the book we have been waiting for for much too long. It was so much fun!
So all you fans out there - what do you think of the book? It was my favorite by far - I absoultly loved it and of course couldn't put it down! Well worth the craziness we all expierenced at the party!
I am glad that you are enjoying it...that seems to be what I hear from everyone. I still need to finish the first, I started it in June...maybe even May.

ReplyDeleteWeellll, you already know what I thought of the book. I'll probably read it again this winter and maybe I'll like it better. I loved the Romanians, though.

I loved the book too. I ordered from Amazon and it didn't come forever so I had to borrow Nicci's book after she finished. I read it before my book even got here. :) I am just sad that the series is supposedly over. :( We should all go to the midnight showing of the movie. That would be way fun!
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures but I must admit I was quite cozy in bed. I'm getting old, what more can I say? As for liking the book, I like the two pages I have read so far. I promised myself I would finish the two books I was already reading. (Shalene--what's wrong with you, get to readin'!!)

ReplyDeleteLove, Love the book. A lot of people are saying she played it to safe, but I didn't mind. I liked that everyone was happy in the end. Cute pictures, looks like you all had fun.
ReplyDeleteI loved the book! I'm sad the story is over now. I also couldn't put it down, and until I finished it, it was all I could think about. I love the story! Can't wait for the movie, I'll be buying my tickets online, and hope we can get a huge group together that day or night!
ReplyDeletei CANNOT believe what an AMAZING writer she is! i am not ALL the way through the book. i have had to give myself a daily alot because we have had SO much going on with the move :) i cannot wait to finish it!
